We're coming to you from Hengqin, China, for the final rounds of the Hengqin International Mozart Competition. Formerly known as the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition, this year's competition is held at the Hengqin Cultural and Art Center in Zhuhai, China.
Founded by the University Mozarteum Salzburg, the competition is open to violinists and pianists under 23. This year's jury includes Tong Weidong (Chairman), Alf-Richard Kraggerud, Reto Kuppel, Ning Feng, Paul Roczek, Hagai Shaham, and Joel Smirnoff.
FINAL ROUND SCHEDULE:
September 19 at 5 PM (ET) | Group A Final Round
The finalists for Group A (12 and under), competing for a first prize of $7,500, are:
