We're coming to you LIVE from Hamburg, Germany, for the Opening Night concert with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, featuring conductor Alan Gilbert and pianist Kirill Gerstein.
Formerly Music Director of the New York Philharmonic, Gilbert has been the chief conductor at the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester since 2019. He has enjoyed a close relationship with the orchestra for many years, having served as principal guest conductor from 2004 to 2015.
