We're coming to you from Los Angeles, California this week for the opening concert of The Colburn School's Sounding Point Academy Performance Series, featuring pianist and violinist Ray Ushikubo. For this concert, Ray will be performing on a Steinway Spirio piano.

The Sounding Point Academy, founded by Robert Lipsett and Fabiola Kim, serves to nurture the next generation of soloists, chamber musicians, orchestral musicians, and pedagogies. The program is taking place at The Colburn School from June 3rd – June 15th, 2024.

The program covers all facets of violin playing — including masterclasses with world-leading artists, orchestra excerpt coaching, and more.
