We're coming to you LIVE from Philadelphia this evening for a special string chamber music concert featuring current students of the famed Curtis Institute of Music. Live from the Field Concert Hall, the program includes Mendelssohn's Quartet No. 2 in A minor, Op. 13 and Enesco's Octet Op. 7.

About the performers:

Maya Anjali Buchanan, from Rapid City, S.D., a student of Ida Kavafian, is the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2018. 

Alexandra Cooreman, from Brussels, Belgium, a student of Ida Kavafian, is the Milka Violin Artist Fellow and entered Curtis in 2021.   

Lingyu Dong, from Beijing, a student of Midori, is the Dorothy Richard Starling Foundation Fellow and entered Curtis in 2019.   

Jiayin He, from Shanghai, a student of Gary Hoffman and Peter Wiley, is the Demeng Foundation Fellow and first entered Curtis in 2018.   

Yiyang Hou, from Shanghai, a student of Benjamin Beilman and Ida Kavafian, is the Herbert R. and Evelyn Axelrod Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.   

Jiwon Grace Kim, from Seoul, a student of Misha Amory and Hsin-Yun Huang, is the Sueyun and Gene Locks Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.   

Na Hyun Della Kyun, from Seoul, a student of Shmuel Ashkenasi and Benjamin Beilman, is the Dorothy Richard Starling Foundation Fellow and entered Curtis in 2022.   

Ania Lewis, from Cleveland, a student of Gary Hoffman and Peter Wiley, is the Gie and Lisa Liem Fellow and entered Curtis in 2021.   

Yizilin Liang, from Zhejiang, China, a student of Roberto Díaz and Edward Gazouleas, is the Bok Foundation Fellow and entered Curtis in 2020.
