We’re coming to you LIVE from The Morgan Library & Museum in New York for a concert featuring YCA Artist Risa Hokamura. Risa was the first prize winner of the YCA 2018 Susan Wadsworth auditions when she was 17. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the East Coast Chamber Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra. She currently plays on the 1715 “Joachim” Stradivarius violin on loan from the Nippon Music Foundation and the 1734 “Ames-Totenberg” Stradivarius violin on loan from Ryuji Ueno and Rare Violins In Consortium, Artists and Benefactors Collaborative.

Risa will be joined by pianist Albert Cano Smit and guest artists Lun Li and Toby Appel for this recital, featuring works by Ysaÿe, Ravel, and Dvořák. Further details for the event will be announced closer to the concert date.
