Jargar Strings has recently released its new Eccentric cello string set. The latest set provides a warm core with fast articulation, a tone rich in color with an edgy character, a wide dynamic range, and exceptional modulation.

The set is designed to be ultra-responsive, allowing players to catch the string quickly and receive tone immediately. However, this crispness is laid over a warm core to avoid undue sharpness.

The strings are available in medium tension.

  • The A and D strings are made out of a carbon steel core wound with a multi alloy material and provide a powerful, brilliant sound with fast response.
  • The G string is made out of a spiral core wound with a tungsten/nickel material and combines warmth with brilliance and excellent response.
  • The C string is made out of a spiral core wound with a tungsten/nickel material and provides a balanced, yet edgy sound with excellent response.
