Pittsburgh Opera Hiring New General Director

The Pittsburgh Opera is seeking its next General Director. The General Director reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for artistic direction and overall administrative leadership of the Pittsburgh Opera.
The ideal candidate will balance commitment to tradition with a strong desire to innovate, will possess extensive leadership experience in the opera discipline, a strong history of fundraising and relationship-building, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and solve organizational problems.
Responsibilities of the role include collaborating with Music Director Antony Walker to determine and execute artistic visions and strategies, curating season programming across multiple venues, overseeing fiscal management, managing partnerships with donors and partners, and spearheading educational and community outreach efforts.
